Unlock
You may not need more proof. You may need to open the door.
Some of what you have earned is sitting behind a login, a paywall, or a closed door where no machine will ever read it. We can see the door. We cannot see what is behind it.
The closed door
A reference is not the evidence itself.
A public page may tell us that something exists while the underlying item remains unreadable. That is enough to diagnose access, not enough to verify the claim.
- A publication available only to signed-in members
- A conference page removed after the event
- A client result trapped in a private portal
- A credential or interview mentioned publicly but not readable
The boundary
We do not call the hidden item proof.
Until the source can be inspected, we do not know whether it supports the claim, contradicts it, or belongs to someone else. Unlock means making existing evidence readable, not granting it credibility in advance.
The move
Open it without rewriting it.
Getting an earned item into the open is often cheaper than creating something new. And if the claim is real, it survives being looked at. Publish a stable copy, ask the source owner for a public version, or add a durable record that points to the original.
Common questions
When the evidence is behind a wall.
What is Unlock?
Unlock is the move for evidence that may already exist but sits behind a login, paywall, or closed door where people and machines cannot inspect it.
Does YOUmanize™ know what is behind the wall?
No. YOUmanize™ can identify a public reference to a closed source, but it cannot call the hidden item proof without reading it.
What makes an Unlock move honest?
The item must be made inspectable without changing what it says. If the underlying claim is real, it should survive being looked at.
