Keep the person and the source connected

A source about someone with a similar name is not enough. Identity ambiguity needs review before a source can support a statement about a particular person.

Evidence types carry different weight

• A person’s own account provides context and a statement to examine. It does not confirm itself.
• A project credit can establish a named role in that project.
• A client or colleague can describe work they know first-hand.
• An independent publication can support the specific facts it reports.
• A copied statement is not a new independent confirmation.

Missing evidence is an unresolved question

If a source is inaccessible, incomplete, outdated, or about the wrong person, the answer must reflect that limitation. We do not fill the gap with a confident-sounding explanation.

Seven lenses make the findings easier to use

Authenticity, Consistency, Reciprocity, Relevance, Social Proof, Transparency, and Resonance are diagnostic lenses. They help organize what is strong, what needs attention, and where evidence is limited. They are not a definitive measure of a person’s worth.

What a ranking needs to explain

A useful leaderboard names the achievement being compared, the people included, the time period, and the evidence that qualifies. A profile badge should explain what was earned and how. The public-recognition rules are being expanded alongside those features.

Provisional prospect research remains private and outside person-to-person ordering. Collecting payments or unconfirmed confirmations does not establish a supported achievement.

Corrections matter

A report should be useful when something is wrong. Review the source, identify the person or detail in question, and use the correction or support route available in the app.

Where the source can be read

Public research uses publicly accessible sources. Other workflows may use information provided with permission under their own access rules. We do not ask for your social account password or treat private material as automatically public.

What this can and cannot establish

Payment never changes what the evidence supports. A finding applies to the statement and available sources being reviewed. It does not guarantee business results, AI recommendations, or future behavior.
